Projects

The issue with the Universe is that there's a lot of things in it. The issue with me is that I want to know how all of them work. Physics is as close as it gets to the study of absolutely everything, with cosmology being pretty literal about it, but it's still of course limited in regards to what it can do. I like to see it as more of a foundation to everything, than everything itself. Something to best prepare you for the study of everything and the long road towards polymathy.

Needless to say, I'm the kind of person that has a really hard time fitting in a single box, so I've gotten used to just... not doing that. I basically collect boxes for fun now. This is a collection of things I've made over time, largely for fun and practice, that I believe might be interesting to learn about. These mostly revolve around coding a thing into existence, though exactly what the thing is, is about as predictable as a triple pendulum.

The goal here is, fundamentally, personal expression. Not just in a portfolio sense, but also in an artistic sense (if this website's name being Liminal Theater didn't already give that away). As such, these articles aren't written in a serious, scientific-papery language, but rather in a fun, light-hearted tone, while trying not to sacrifice rigor (too much). I hope these might entertain or even inspire someone out there to go make something of their own. The world could use a lot more silly side projects.

I maintain a code repository called WISP for standalone projects I do that may or may not have a corresponding article here. You can find it here.
